Refrigeration
Closely affiliated with Sea Frost brand yacht refrigeration, Horton Marine Services is well-versed in all aspects of marine refrigeration. Whether AC, DC, or engine drive, we can troubleshoot and repair your existing unit, or expertly install a new refrigeration system.
The Sea Frost affiliation is family history. Nate's father C. Horton founded Sea Frost Refrigeration over 30 years ago, and this shop has specialized in the installation, service, and support of Sea Frost systems ever since.
Watermakers
Water maker systems allow your vessel to create potable water using reverse osmosis making your voyages conveniently independent from shore-based water.
We handle desalination system service, membrane replacement, pickling, and commissioning as a Blue Water Desalination dealer.
Heating
Using a fuel-efficient heater will keep your vessel warm in cooler weather and climates.
We service and install diesel cabin heaters sized to your boat, and winterize them when the season ends.
Generators

Hamilton Jets
Horton Marine Services specializes in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of HamiltonJet propulsion systems. Our team is trained in diagnosing and repairing all models, from the older mechanical jets to the latest HJ and even HT series.
Whether it's routine servicing, impeller replacement, hydraulic troubleshooting, or full jet overhauls, we ensure your vessel's performance is restored to peak condition.
Electrical & lithium
An ABYC electrically certified company, Horton Marine Services will quickly resolve your AC/DC power problems. We can also expertly assess any inverter, charger, or inverter/charger combination, monitor, and other battery device problems and quickly repair or replace them. We also install and repair tank senders, amp meters, circuit breakers, selector switches, relays, GFCIs, water pumps and water heaters.
Custom Victron completed lithium installations. Design and installations include custom battery bank size with external Lynx BMS. All overcurrent protection follows ABYC guidelines. Integration of high output alternators, inverter and/or DC powered air conditioning, solar charging, and VRM remote portal access.
Seasonal care
Preventative maintenance is critical when dealing with freezing winter temperatures and conditions. Protect your vessel with winterization services from Horton Marine Services, and prevent your vessel's pipes from freezing, bursting, or a variety of system failures.
